Wonderland were delighted to be tasked by H&M to creatively launch the collaboration for H&M LOCAL BLANKS ‘Hawaii Keisuke x H&M’. An evolution of the Local Blanks capsule collection looking to redefine and provoke what British Menswear is in 2022.
Pairing two disparate and progressive designers Ryan Hawaii and Shane Berkey alongside brand ambassador Munya Chawawa, to challenge the conventions of what a High Street collaboration can produce.
Our brief was to progress the designers’ visions of a physical studio with a playful theme, that invited guests on a journey to explore their worlds. Inspired by the collaborator’s identity, relevant to their 3 themes creativity, nationality and masculinity.
Wonderland designed and produced a striking set design, rich with storytelling of Ryan and Shane’s artistic journey. Large scale branding opportunities, projections and vibrant and surreal vignettes designed to showcase the bold collection. A contemporary tablescape further immersed guests into the world of H&M, complete with colourful playful cassette place settings with QR codes and a specially curated playlist by Ryan and Shane offered unique guest gifts and a further insight into their world.
